Working on a new site for the next convention. This one is proving challenging as I am trying to get a functional site for computers/tablets/and cell phones. It is a continuing work in progress and each time I think I am finished I seem to be faced with a new problem.
Mobile sites are becoming more and more important as most of us tend to access everything from our cell phones. The site should have the same content, but be designed so that you can easily access information.

Why does a business need a website and social marketing?
I recently starting taking working with my day jobs Facebook page. I was amazed how quickly our "likes" grew. All I did was spend a little time each day finding a relevant post and trying to get our members involved.
We found we were actually getting new clients from Facebook referrals. Lets face it when you talk to someone and they want to know if you know of a ..................landscaper, veterinarian, or a place to buy a pie............... we go to our Facebook page to show them.
A business of any size can benefit from a Facebook page. It does take a lot of time to keep it updated. As a Facebook user I "like" many pages and often forget about them when they don't stay active. Or if I find a business and see that they do not post a lot often I will move on to another business.
It's not about how many "likes" you have...........it's what you do with the likes that is important.
Every small business needs to look into social marketing to spread the word and help their business grow.3..41
